Recognising that the community spans a wide geography, the foundation encourages local chapters as local forums for social and cultural exchange, all operating within its constitutional framework.

Purpose, Governance and Accountability

Purpose of local chapters

Chapters provide local forums for social and cultural exchange, keeping members connected wherever they live.

Global connection

Chapters link communities in Pakistan, the United Kingdom, Europe, the Middle East, North America and beyond to the foundation's national umbrella.

Chapter governance

Each chapter elects, by majority vote, at minimum a Chapter Chairperson, Chapter Secretary and Chapter Treasurer for a two-year term. Officers of these portfolios must be at least 18 years old.

Membership requirements

A minimum of sixteen life member families is required to apply for chapter status; applications go to the Executive Committee, and chapter status can be reviewed if membership falls below fourteen.

Relationship with the Executive Committee

The Executive Committee approves or declines chapter applications, coordinates with chapters, and its decision prevails in the event of a dispute within a chapter.

Community activities

Chapters organise their own local functions and meetings, holding at least three representative committee meetings and one general body meeting each financial year.

Cultural programmes

Local cultural gatherings and programmes carry the chapter's identity, clearly named as a chapter of Bains Rajput Foundation.

Education initiatives

Chapters can propose and support local education activities in coordination with the foundation's committees.

Reporting and accountability

Chapters appoint an accounts auditor, provide audited accounting reports and annual income and expenditure statements to the Executive Committee, and supply updated membership lists twice a year.

Submit the chapter enquiry form below. The foundation will explain the constitutional requirements, including the written application to the Executive Committee.

Local chapters operate under the Constitution of Bains Rajput Foundation and are subject to approval, governance, reporting, and membership requirements. This page summarises the framework; the constitution's formal requirements always prevail.
